Welcome to Z STREET!

No more appeasement, no more negotiating with terrorists, no more enabling cowards who fear offending more than they fear another Holocaust.  Z STREET is for those who are willing not only to support – but to defend – Israel, the Jewish State.

    Goldstone’s Report

First of all, the report was pre-fabricated by UNHRC and Goldstone team: Goldstone, Hina Jilani and Desmond Travers signed a March 2009 letter initiated by Amnesty International , stating that “events in Gaza have shocked us to the core.” Similarly, in a letter to the Times (UK), member Christine Chinkin expressed her predetermined conclusion that “Israel’s bombardment of Gaza is not self-defence – it’s a war crime”. Moreover, before the Goldstone team started working, UNHRC Chair Navi Pillay said, that if Goldstone does not find evidences of Israel’s war crimes, we will send those who will. Secondly, no doubt that Richard Goldstone investigation was under Hamas close supervision and tight control. There are mounting evidences from credible sources that must be anonymous due to death threat from Hamas as they are living in Gaza. No doubt that Richard Goldstone and his team perfectly understood the situation, but decided to go on with fake and Hamas-staged and controlled investigation. His report contradicts to previous complaints from Gaza residents on Hamas using civilians as human shield and civilian infrastructure for military purposes reported by Italian and other newspapers and UN officials. The report was pre-fabricated by UNHRC staff, including UNHRC Chair Navi Pillay, who are notorious pro-islamofascist orientation. This report is pre-meditated crime and these people must be treated as criminals. Such prefabricated approach makes all previous report questionable and it is very possible that innocent people have been wrongfully punished. An investigation on every team member, including UNHRC Chair Navi Pillay, is urgent.

Obviously, UNHRC Chair Navi Pillay, Goldstone and his team are pathological liars. Due to the severity of the crime they committed, they must be put on trial.

    Mark Bernadiner, Ph.D.

A South African journalist and historian R.W. Johnson criticized Judge Goldstone’s proceedings in regard with the mission. The criticism included accepting a commission subjected to UN Human Rights Council that is biased against Israel and writing a report based largely on interviews with Hamas members.[7][9]

British Hero Tells U.N. Council: ‘IDF Most Moral Army in History of Warfare’

IDF Did More to Safeguard Civilians Than Any Army in History of Warfare

Here is the presentation made by Col. Richrd Kemp, of the UK, before the UNHRC:

    “Thank you, Mr. President.

I am the former commander of the British forces in Afghanistan. I served with NATO and the United Nations; commanded troops in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Macedonia; and participated in the Gulf War. I spent considerable time in Iraq since the 2003 invasion, and worked on international terrorism for the UK Government’s Joint Intelligence Committee.

Mr. President, based on my knowledge and experience, I can say this: During Operation Cast Lead, the Israeli Defense Forces did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.

Israel did so while facing an enemy that deliberately positioned its military capability behind the human shield of the civilian population.

Hamas, like Hizballah, are expert at driving the media agenda. Both will always have people ready to give interviews condemning Israeli forces for war crimes. They are adept at staging and distorting incidents.

The IDF faces a challenge that we British do not have to face to the same extent. It is the automatic, Pavlovian presumption by many in the international media, and international human rights groups, that the IDF are in the wrong, that they are abusing human rights.

The truth is that the IDF took extraordinary measures to give Gaza civilians notice of targeted areas, dropping over 2 million leaflets, and making over 100,000 phone calls. Many missions that could have taken out Hamas military capability were aborted to prevent civilian casualties. During the conflict, the IDF allowed huge amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza. To deliver aid virtually into your enemy’s hands is, to the military tactician, normally quite unthinkable. But the IDF took on those risks.

Despite all of this, of course innocent civilians were killed. War is chaos and full of mistakes. There have been mistakes by the British, American and other forces in Afghanistan and in Iraq, many of which can be put down to human error. But mistakes are not war crimes.

More than anything, the civilian casualties were a consequence of Hamas’ way of fighting. Hamas deliberately tried to sacrifice their own civilians.

Mr. President, Israel had no choice apart from defending its people, to stop Hamas from attacking them with rockets.

And I say this again: the IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.

    Thank you, Mr. President.”

(I have the actual video on Col. Kemp’s speech and will be glad to forward it to interested parties……..Isaac)

“Whom the gods want to destroy, they make mad first!”
I watched the video on the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival very carefully and saw a cold, empty look in the eyes of these anti-semites, including the Jewish ones.

The leftists around the world are bankrupt and afraid of Islam! Hence, Israel, being small becomes an easy sacrifice for them. Sort of, “I don’t care, I’m living in the USA and I don’t practice Judaism anyway. To hell with Israel.”

Also, they lack the testicular fortitude to let their non-Jewish contacts at work or elsewhere know that Islam and the aim of most Muslims is to destroy and kill anyone who is not Muslim!

Just speak to your Hindu friends or contacts and they can tell you horror stories committed by Muslims in India.

(Please tell me the time the demonstration starts on Oct 27th)

Saul is exactly right. We need to expose the utterly false bases upon which all these “solutions” being imposed by the US, the UN, the EU, and even by various Israeli organizations and some politicians. Then the rest of the world will see why those solutions are worthless. And for those (many) who refuse to accept either that the premises are false or that even if they aren’t exactly correct that the “solutions” still need to be pursued, full steam ahead, at least they are forced to stand naked in public because there is not a stitch of clothing on the “solutions Emperor.”

Yes, Howard Grief’s book, “The Legal Foundation and Borders of Israel under International Law” is 700 pages packed with information. Grief is now involved with a group called Justice Now. I met him when I attended the 2nd of 4 lectures by the group’s director, Mark Kaplan (former Israel National News TV anchor/producer) speak tonight in Jerusalem. These guys are going to take Obama to court for violating rights granted by a 1924 treaty (according to Kaplan and Grief, the rights continue “ad infinum”).

To all the Martys shuddering about being criticized for fighting every which way for Israel and its empowerment: Get over it! You worried about fighting fire with fire? Then fight Islamic fire with both fire and water. No more shuddering and cringing at being called dirty names when Jews and their supporters speak truth to Jimmy Carter’s lies. No more worrying about “offending” the strutting Arabs amongst you. The last thing any Jewish groups needs is to pretend that other groups, such as the faux-palis, don’t hate Jews. And we feel it’s perfectly all right to make Jew-bashers eat what they serve. It’s NOT ‘bigotry, it’s discriminating in favor of what’s good and powerfully right for everyone who is fighting against Islamic imperialism.

    1. I read about this new org on ‘Atlas Shrugs’ – when you have got Pamela Geller supporting you you needn’t worry about the opposition.

    2. I am a UK Jew living in ‘Bradistan’, West Yorks in Gordon ‘McStalin’ Brown’s UK. You think parts of the US are bad come and live here. Everything over here, policing, education, health, legal rights is all for the ‘minorities’ but the only ‘minorities’ the govt recognises are Muslims, gays, Muslims, lesbians, Muslims, gypsies, Muslims – you get it. The other minorities, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs who want to assimilate and integrate into the UK are all treated like dirt. There is even a new minority appearing on the block – Christians !! To be overtly Christian, let alone to proselize, is being discouraged. Christian material is being removed from TV, schools etc. Christians handing out material in the ‘wrong’ neighbourhood ie Muslim postcode areas, are arrested.

    3. I understand perfectly the points you are making about the ‘Quisling’ leadership which claims to speak for US Jewry – we have the same scum in the UK who are rewarded for their treachery by getting ‘Knighthoods’ and ‘Peerages’ from the govt.

    4. It wonn’t get any better if David Cameron’s Conservatives are elected. He is a vacuous PR man who follows the same scripts as ‘McStalin’ and is sucking up to the Muslims to get their votes. To think that creep is leading the Tory Party – previous leader was Margaret Thatcher !

The last thing any Jewish group needs is overt religious hatred.

Jewish groups need to stick to ISSUES related to the threats to Judaism and Israel, rather than resorting to the kind of bigotry we’ve suffered from.

As an old Herut-Likud USA member (in the 1970s), and an active friend of the ZOA, not to mention being the founder, editor, and publisher of Jewish Celiacs Newsletter, which has been around for the past ten years on the Internet and on the street, I want to wish you and your co-founder good luck in all that you do with Z Street. Greetings to Z Street from the Secular Christians for Zion. We hope we will be welcomes here. We are not popular with the website known as “Common Dreams” because we fervently and frequently express our disrespect for that meddlesome old crank Jimmy Carter. They had fits when we remind them that Carter is the first X-POTUS to take millions from Ghaith Pharaon and the Saudis.

We are not politically correct and do not aspire to mince words. We believe Israel has been badly wounded by its Highest Court, the majority of whom apparently are so insecure they cannot or dare not rule in favor of their homeland when the so-called “palestinians” come-a-whining.

We believe appeasement and offerings of “painful concessions” invites bullying, disrespect, and physical attacks. We believe Arik Sharon, like Ronald Reagan drifted into senility while in office. What else could account for his absurd mutterings?

We admire the Women in Green and Carolyn Glick. If this disqualifies us from your assocition, do let us know.

viva to the Patriots of Israel from the Secular Christians for Zion — and some just plain “seculars”.

Lori, I wish you great success with this new website.

In order to counter the ubiquitous revisionist anti-Zionist history, I advise publishing reading lists that include books such as Bat Ye’or’s, ISLAM AND DHIMMITUDE, Leon Poliakov’s, THE HISTORY OF ANTI-SEMITISM, and Joan Peters, FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL.

Also, there exist numerous eyewitness accounts regarding the presence of Jews – often in great numbers – in Palestine (Judea & Samaria) since the Bar-Kokhba revolt. Among those witnesses are Ibn Al-Qalanisi (11th century), Benjamin of Tudela (12th century), Hadrian Relandi (16th century), Canon Antoine Morison (17th century), and Mark Twain 19th century).

As you are aware, one of the greatest enemy Jews face is falsehood and libel.

Lori.. This site and organization is a long time coming and just in time.
I’ve planned my Aliyah, it has been quite some time since my last trip to Israel. In fact 1973 – ’74, volunteer during Yom Kippur War. Now’s my time to return.
Things here in the states are troubling: the current administration’s policy towards Israel; the pressure being put on Israel; etc.. Israel must stop the “occupation”, must leave settlements, stop natural growth.
Obama’s plans of appeasement have not and will not work. Appeasement shows weakness to an enemy that respects strength, and only strength. I feel Israel would much rather be feared than loved by the Arab world!! Obama should take Israel’s lead!!!
In an email letter to Obama I sent today. I included a copy of the column from Haaretz on line, Mon. July 13, by Hillel Fendel. This column “Fatah Official: ‘Our Goal Is Not Peace, But Rather Palestine'”. These are the words of Kifa Radaydeh, a leading member of Fatah in Jerusalem. Her remarks aired on Arab T.V. it was translated and supplied by Palestinian Media Watch. An interesting and vital read.
I also pointed out the history of the Middle East and The Bible’s (both Old & New) account of The Jewish People living in Israel, thousands of years before the advent of Christianity, Islam, or the Palestinians. Yes the Muslims did defeat the crusaders and capture Jerusalem. So I ask, who is the real occupying force in the region? A region claimed to be holy to Islam, yet not mentioned even once in the Koran. What????
Than came the British, as occupiers.Israel was not born out of nor created as a result of the Holocaust, as Obama put it. In 1948, statehood was granted. But really a homeland was reclaimed by The Jewish People, displaced for far too long. Also any claim to lands by the Palestinians should be directed towards Jordan, who was awarded the majority of the land the Palestinians once held. Yet it is only Israel, seen as the occupying force.
I can only hope these messages get through. Things must change, and soon. Israel has given up too much in the name of peace, and at what cost? Rockets!!! Restricted access to ancient Holy sights, The Temple Mount and places in the “West Bank”!!! Kidnappings and terrorism!!!
Thank you for Z Street. We need Z Street. How can I and my like minded friends & family help? Please let me know. Does Z Street have a news letter, or other ways of getting in touch with those that wish to help?
Next Year in Jerusalem & Israel!!! Shalom

The Holy Land is from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean including Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights, Gaza and the Sinai.
Don’t let Barak Hussein Obama and company tell you any different.
First of all Israel is our trusted friend and ally in the ME and also a democracy.

      • Ruvy Kossover on

Thanks for the encouraging words. Don’t feel bad about Barak Obama (the Blessed of Hussein) trying to tear at this nation. He’ll try, and because we have gutless fools in office in Jerusalem, he’ll succeed to a degree.

But while you and lots of decent Americans (and I know that the majority of you are swell folks, I used to be an American myself) support us and our rights to our Homeland, your president is doing the important work of ripping the mask of “friendship” from the Jew-hating leaders who run and ruin your nation. It becomes more obvious daily that the real policy of the United States government has always been to hamstring Israel and its development. Almost every American administration since Truman’s has been hostile to the Jewish Entity – behind the scenes where Jewish voters (and contributors to campaigns) can’t see. Obama is bringing that hostility into the open. It is far better to face an honest enemy than a false friend.

This stuff goes back to beyond the time the State was declared. It goes beyond trying to reverse the results of the Six Day War; it includes systematically wrecking deals our Security Ministry and weapons companies make with other nations. The most recent case was with India, a week or so ago. It includes other efforts to hamper our economic development, efforts that are too complicated to go into here.

So, if your leaders put pressure on pliable fools, and if the pliable fools give in, then Obama and his stooges serve as target markers – and the pliable fools who give in to them will become the targets of us, we Israelis who are sick of traitors giving our land away. Even though it appears to be evil, only good can come of this.

Frankly, if you really want to understand the legal underpinnings of this nation, read Howard Grief’s magnum opus mentioned at the top of this site. You will find thazt GA Resolution 181 was illegal, and that therefore all following UN actions regarding this nation were illegal. The time approaches when we Israelis will have to take matters into our own hands and end the tolerance of internationally sanctioned illegality – simply to make sure that we still have homes to live in.

    • Ron Grandinetti on

Ruvy I know where you are coming from.

It’s time for American Jews to remember and return to their heritage and religious roots.

Over the past number of years the majority of liberal American Jews seem to believe it was not fashionable or shameful to be recognized as a Jew.

That sad and as a youngster growing up with Jewish neighbors, (in fact I use to live 1/2 block from the Jewish Community Center), there was a lot of activities there and at the local synagogues. Not so much anymore.

In fact as a Catholic school student (the school also was 1/2 a block away) our nuns had a great relationship with center.

Why they found it necessary to looked upon as being more American than Jewish is beyond me.

I had this discussion with a Jewish friend on Israpundit who like you made the Aliyah years ago.

I get upset with the liberal American Jews for not being outraged with this president and administration or any former administration for not fully supporting Israel.

Jews need to start being “Jewish or better still too-Jewish” again and become one voice against anti-Semitism in this country and its leaders.

I believe a majority of Americans would support them in this effort.

      G-d/God bless you and Israel

Soon you will be able to see a Web site for an affiliate project: http://www.americansvoteisrael.org. We hope to be able to cobble together an American-Israeli political bloc (the pool we take from in Israel is more than 300K strong, and some say twice that) that will, first of all, help take the pressure off of Israel concerning the “two-state” attempt at murdering the Jewish State.

I’m looking forward to groups like ours cooperating for the good of all Jews everywhere – which will benefit the whole world in the end, whether they like it or not.

    Your definition:

“Jewish State of Israel: the reborn Jewish homeland which state was recognized in 1948 by a majority of the organized nations of the world, and which was subsequently enlarged as the result of defensive wars waged against it. ”

I hope you don’t consider Judea, Samaria and Gaza as part of the “…..subsequently enlarged….” bit of your definition.

According to the Mandate for Palestine the Jewish homeland (apart from Trans-Jordan) stretches from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean Sea. We haven’t really enlarged our country just regained what was illegaly taken from us in 1948.

Maybe the definition is unclear. How’s this clarification:
The Jewish State of Israel is synonymous with the Eretz Yisrael in its fullest extent from which the Jews were exiled by their enemies and never relinquished by the nation wherever and whenever it found itself.

That is, while 1948 is a historical checkpoint, the interim arrangements of 1948 do not supersede those of the rest of history, including those as recently as 1918, when the majority of the organized nations of the world recognized the Eretz Yisrael as the Jewish State. That includes all of the tribal lands of the Upper Kingdom of Israel and Lower Kingdom of Judea.

      That includes Judea and Samaria above all, territory of Judah and Benjamin;
      that includes the East Bank or TransJordania to the Euphrates river (ancient Emor and Ammon and Moav, later tribal lands of Reuven, Gad and half of Menashe;
      that includes Gaza, part of tribal Judah which has had Jewish communities living throughout history;
      that includes the Golan Heights or ancient Bashan and then tribal land of Dan;
that includes southern Lebanon or the tribal lands of Naphtali and asher, to the Litani River

It’s nice to know a place like this exists, a good alternative to J Street. I’m an old school liberal Democrat who supported Hillary in the primaries but who voted for John McCain last year. He’s the first Republican I voted for in 40 years. I knew Obama would be a problem for Israel so there was no way I could support him. That 78% of Jews did is appalling but chalk that up to ignorance of both Obama and the history of Israel.

Finally–an answer back to those appeasers at J Street. I assume you will never get an invitation to meet the President,as they did. I’m sending this to everyone I know and I hope that you will get a great response to your new website. Yasher Koach!

thank you for this honest organization. your effort is admired and we ,as a nation, will benefit from your strength and courage. finally voices of reason and fact have a place to inspire and motivate people who understand history the way it actually happened and dream of the history yet to be made with a safe ,strong , israel.
peace…yes ,we yearn for it as much as anyone…the difference, ….real peace.the kind of peace that respects all people , the kind of peace that lets israel live and thrive like every other nation . enough of revisionist history and double standards. time for a reality check……and this organization is it.

I would like to personally thank you for starting this website and organization. It is needed very much given that many of our own people let alone others have become victims of false (politically correct)propaganda and revisionist history that equates the victims with the terrorists.
